EmpowerPeopleAI grew out of a simple observation: AI adoption in science and healthcare was accelerating faster than understanding. Researchers were using tools they didn't fully control. Clinicians were making decisions based on outputs they couldn't verify. Institutions were implementing systems without governance frameworks.
We started training scientists in 2023 — not because we saw a business opportunity, but because we saw a gap. The gap between what AI could do and what people understood about it. The gap between efficiency gains and quality control. The gap between automation and oversight.
220+ workshops later, we've trained over 8,000 participants across research institutes, university hospitals and clinical programs. What we've learned is that the real challenge isn't teaching people to use AI — it's teaching them to control it.
That's why control is at the center of everything we do. Not control as restriction, but control as capability. The ability to understand what's happening, to verify output, to intervene when needed, to maintain human agency in a world of artificial intelligence.
The more people understand AI, the longer we retain control over it. That's not a tagline. It's our mission.
